专家简介

    Dr.Ninshu Ma received Ph.D.in 1994 at Osaka University, Japan. He is a professor of Joining and Welding Research Institute, and the director of East-Asian Center of Academic Initiatives at Osaka University, Japan. He is associate editor of "Ships and Offshore Structure" , editor of "Advanced Materials Joining”. He was the editor-in-chief of "the Joumal of the Japan Society of Technology of Plasticity”. He has published more than 300 joumal articles and 8 books/chapters. He has chaired/co-chaired several international conferences. His research interests include computational welding mechanics and metal forming mechanics, development of computing/measuring methods and material constitutive models for various fusion/solid-state joining and additive manufacturing. Finally, application examples of welding deformation control strategy are demonstrated based on the predicted results.

报告摘要

    The residual stress and deformation distributions in various basic welded joints analyzed using author developed software“JWRIAN” based on based on thermal elastic-plastic theory and finite element method (FEM) as well as measured in experiments were summarized. A simulation system “JWELD”for predicting welding deformation in large-scale practical structures based on inherent deformation concept and elastic finite element method supported with automatic meshing and professionally friendly graphic interface was developed for industrial users. Using welding inherent deformation database established through performing finite element analysis or experimental measurement on basic welded joints, both welding deformation and in practical structures were efficiently predicted. Finally, application examples of welding deformation control strategy are demonstrated based on the predicted results.
